*Minimum Educational Qualification :(i)A President Scouts/ Guides/ Ranger/ Rover, OR Himalayan Wood Badge Holder, OR A pre-HWB trained Scouts leader/Advanced Trained Guides/Leader/Captain, and
(ii) Should have been an active member of a Scouts Organization for at least 3 years in the recent past and should continue to be active and
(iii) Should have attended at least one event at National Level and one or two events at State level or should have a good record of participation in Scouts/Guide activities at Unit/District Level
*Age Limit and Relaxation:Age as On 01.12.2012 :
For Pay Band : Rs. 5200-20200+ GP 1900/- : 18 to 30 years
For Pay Band : Rs. 5200-20200+ GP 1800/- : 18 to 33 years
EXAMINATION FEE:
 The processing fee for recruitment will be Rs. 40/- payment should be made in favour of F.A. & C.A.O.DLW/ VARANASI. Through Indian Postal Order.
MODE OF SELECTION :
(A) Written Test (objective type question as per syllabus given below)= 50 marks
(B) Scout & Guide qualification = 35 marks.
(C) Interview =15 marks, Total =100 marks.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES:

7. Age : - For Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200+ GP 1900/- 18 to 30 years and Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200+ GP 1800/- 18 to 33 years as On 01.12.2012 (Upper Agerelaxation will be for SC/ST 05 years and For OBC-03 years as per extent rule)
